Snowmen & Mittens
Our theme party this month was 'Snowmen & Mittens' and we had a great time this morning celebrating the finer things about winter!!
We started out by making this cute little snowman craft - filled with hot chocolate mix and marshmallows - a yummy winter treat to take home!

The kids had some free playtime with the toys - but amazingly enough, the rubbermaid bins turned out to be the favourite plaything. Proving once again that the simplest things in life are usually the best :)
We finished up the day with storytime and a hunt for the lost snowman.
Thanks to all the moms and little ones that came out to have fun with us!!

momstown Central Alberta hits the ground rolling!!
We had a great time this morning, at the very first official momstown Central Alberta event, doing laps around the Bower Mall.
The hour flew by as 4 of us mamas with babies in strollers got rolling. I must say we got quite a bit of attention from the other people in the mall. As we passed one lady for about the third time she said "you girls are doing a great job!"
It was great to get up and out of the house first thing, meet some great ladies, get some exercise - and a treat for me to get to go on an outing with only my younger son (a rarity around here - big brother was at playschool). We enjoyed a coffee afterwards and had a great chat! I took my camera to catch a shot of the mamas in action - but was having too much fun and forgot to use it - so you'll just have to use your imaginations!
