We held our first New Member Coffee and Tea Event, and I think it was a great success!
We had new members, trial members and some momstown "veterans" at the event, and of course there were lots of kids, and only a few squabbles! It is tough learning to share! (wink)
I had heard, and remember, how intimidating it can be for some to walk into a room, full of strangers, even when you are desperately seeking mom friends, so I added this event, to help with that uneasy feeling of walking into a room alone, knowing no one.
I welcomed the members to my house for coffee and conversation, and now we all know some new faces. I know we will be seeing more of everyone at our events!
Thanks ladies for the wonderful morning, and now I know for sure this will be a monthly event, and all are welcome, new members, trial members and of course the 'veterans'
