Little Scientists: Wind Socks

Today our little scientists discovered the wind!

The first thing we had to do was decorate our wind socks.

Then with some help from the moms (wink) we put the finishing touches on the wind socks and then we had to try them out!

We discovered which direction the wind was blowing, when it was stronger and how to capture the wind to keep our wind socks in the air

I have seen some pictures already of our wind socks at their new homes and their creators still enjoying watching them blow in the wind.

Join us next month when we discover science again!

  4. That looks like fun. My kids love making crafts and as a homeschooler all I can think about is how cool it is to take a craft and teach with it as well. So cool! What a great service you are offering Tanya :)
