Here is the recipe
Puppy Chow:
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter (or use almond butter, sunflower butter etc)
9 cups rice cereal squares ("chex")
1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Combine the chocolate chip and peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for about 1 minute, or until melted.
Add vanilla.
Place the cereal squares in a large container and pour in the chocolate mixture.

Shake gently until
the sugar has coated all the squares
(alternately, place the mixture in a
resealable bag, and shake to coat.)
This is a great job for kids
If desired, place in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes until chocolate hardens. Store in an airtight container.
This is a bit messy with the melted chocolate and peanut butter, thankfully we had Huggies wipes on hand to help clean up the sticky fingers!!
Join us next month for our Junior Chef program! All the details are on our calendar!

So fun (and thank goodness for Huggies wipes)! Was it yummy?
