This month momstown Central Alberta's theme was ON THE POND and our Scholastic Book of the month is A CUDDLE FOR LITTLE DUCK by
by Claire Freedman and illustrated by Caroline Peddler.
As usual momstown Central Alberta holds this event at Chapters Red Deer, and our members, moms and thier kids arrived at Chapters to see that they had created a pond for us in the children's area!! This was where the kids listened to the stories.

Then we all colored our own ducks to add to the pond, as well as some lily pads to add some frogs to!

The kids loved the story, of course a rhyming story make for a great read!
Afterward, the kids loved discussing Little Duck's day.
