The year in Review: Family Memory Box

On December 31st 2012 as we were reminiscing about the year... we had a hard time remembering all that we did as a Family. We of course remembered the big things, our trips, baby #4 on her way, but had a hard time remembering much else.

I saw the idea of writing down the special things that happen throughout the year, and looking at them at the end of the year. I loved this idea! What I didn't love was all the examples I found used scraps of paper a a big glass jar.  I thought I would be sick of seeing the jar after a while, so I set out to find another option, and I found this!

It is a box that looks like a fancy book, about 12" X 11" X 3" (30cm  x 28cm X 8cm). 
I love the message on the front, I love that it can hold more than paper, a collection of keepsakes from the year as a family.
The first things I have added were two cards that came with flowers after Caitlin's birth as well as a ITS A GIRL sign.

I also love that it can be displayed on our mantle, where it is easy to find but looks like it belongs, so we can easily add to it when things happen in our family that we can celebrate.
Just like it says on the box LIVE LAUGH LOVE.

I know December 31st 2013 we will have lots to remember and reminisce about!!
