When you first pee on that pregnancy test and you get the 2 lines... the first thing you figure out is the baby's estiamted arrival date. Your Due Date. It is also what everyone asks right after they find out you are expecting. When are you Due? It is used at every doctor's appointment, ultrasound, blood test... you know this date off by heart.
With my first, my Due Date was 12th. She arrived on the 21st. THAT was a long wait... I didn't know that babies didn't always arrive on time.
Baby number 2 was due on the 21st. She arrived very early on the 24th, not too late, and after waiting for so long with #1, hardly a wait at all.
Baby number 3 was timely! My water broke ON my due date, and she arrived just after midnight. No waiting at all.
So I thought this is the way things go for me... my babies come closer and closer to their due date... HA! Right!
My Due Date with baby number 4 WAS December 28th... its January 3rd and there are no signs that baby wants to arrive anytime soon. I am scheduled for an induction for January 7th as a last resort, and I think this wait has been the longest... not in days yet... but emotionally. Every night I go to bed wondering if tomorrow will be the day, and every day I waddle around, and anyone who sees me out in public states that the day MUST be soon...
So I am trying to get all the things done I thought I would be doing with a newborn now that might not be done next week depending on this little one's arrival. Is this nesting? Please humor me and say YES Tanya it is, it must means baby is coming soon, right?
On a separate note, we don't really have a name picked out YET! Maybe baby is waiting for us to decide?
